When Daddy comes home

Jeremy got home last night. We are glad that he is back home safe and sound. Here are some pictures of his family in California and the job that he was working on.

Jeremy is staying in Cali until Thursday. We miss him like crazy around here.There is a lot more work than they thought there was. He only took 3 outfits and 3 pairs of underwear. So hes going to be very stinky when he gets home. I told him that he need to go to a laundry mat but I dont think that he will. He also has to change hotels tonight. The first hotel was all sold out for tonight so they needed to find a new one. Its all part of the adventure. I don't think that he will be going on any more install any time soon. He said that for sure he will be back on Thursday so I really hope so.

Levi and I went to lunch with my moms group and when we got there we got to see the Vetrans day parade. It was fun. Levi loved the fire truck because they had there sirens on.

Gas

I had a pretty good day. A friend invited me and Levi to dinner because she knew that Jer was out of town. So we had a nice dinner while the kids played. I am so blessed to have good friends in my life.
Jeremy is staying in California till Tuesday. They have a lot to get done and they have to wait on other people to finish their part before they can finish their part. So its going to take longer. Hes working hard and enjoying seeing his family.
I scared myself this morning. I let Sammy out to go potty first thing this morning and I noticed that the gate was wide open. That freaked me out because it is never left open. So I went out to shut it and turned around and saw the car door wide open. Now I was really freaked. So I went and checked out the car thinking I was going to find it trashed and the bogeyman hiding in the back seat. Everything turned out to be fine and I realized that I had just forgot to shut both the gate and the car. Wow I must have been way out of it when I got home last night.
I filled my gas tank today. We have not filled the tank since the beginning of summer. It was only $40 to fill it. I was so happy. Gas is $2.25 a gallon right now. I hope that it keeps dropping. Its still sad to think that I am happy about $2.25 but I have to look on the bright side and just be thankful that it has come down.

Jeremy is in California and I miss him already. He left about 4 hours ago. His work is paying him to go. They bought his ticket and paid of a two room suite at the hotel and he got food money for the three days he will be there. I am totally bummed that I could not go with him. I have no idea what I am going to do all weekend with out him.
Levi has decided that he does not want to sleep at all any more. I feel like I have a newborn again. Its frustrating. I don't know what keeps waking him up at night. I hope its just a phase and that he will grow out of it sooner than later. I think I figured out part of the problem tonight. He no longer likes to be rocked. Hes been fighting me when I rock him for the last week. I have rocked him his whole like. So I did not know what to do. Tonight he was fighting me and screaming at the top of his lungs and shaking while I was trying to rock him. So I laid him down in his bed and turned on his "fish" than sat down beside his bed. In about 1o minutes he was out cold with only a little bit of fussing. I am going to try it tomorrow because I am not sure if it was just because he had wore himself out from screaming.

I voted.

I did vote yesterday. I was not going to because the night before I had a bad dream about my political opinion. But than at the last minute I decided to. I am glad that I did. I am not sure whats to come with our wonderful nation but I have hope that this is the start of the change that we need.
We had our first taste of winter this morning. I do have to say that I love the snow. Its so pretty and clamming. I cant wait for real winter and I hope that we get a whole bunch of really big snow storms.
Jeremy is going to California this weekend for work. Hes going to install some things at a Libray in Milpitas. I am more than a little bit jealous. But Jeremy has not seen his family in almost a year (11 months) so I hope that he gets to see them while he is there. He will leave tomorrow night and be back Sunday night unless the job goes longer. I am going to miss him but he will make good money while he is there. We are planning a trip to Cali as a family between Christmas and New Years. Jeremy has 10 days off so we are going to drive out there and spend some time with both our familys and I am really really looking forward to it.

Levi has learned that he can stand on the oven draw and get into everything.

Fish

Jeremy went fishing last Saturday with his buddy Cody. They have been going for the last month on Saturdays. This time they found the sweet spot. Jeremy caught 3 and Cody caught 4. They almost got in a fight with a homeless man. Its a funny story. Ask him about it.
