Robot Bug

Today we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Madsen's for Lunch/Dinner. We had a real nice time. Tyler, one of Levis cousins, brought over this toy robot that is a remote control and will shot darts. Levi was scared to death of this thing. I had never seen him so scared of anything. He was fine when it was not on. He would stay far away from it. But when we turned it on he would jump out of his skin if he could. He called it the Robot Bug. I thought the thing was pretty cool. I kept trying to get him to play with it but like I said I had never seen him so scared of anything. Grandma Sherry said if we kept torturing him with it we were all going to be in trouble. So the Robot Bug ended up in the Tyler's car. I have a feeling that karma will come back to bite me and Levi will be up all night with nightmares of bugs coming to get him.
I now know what not to get Levi for his birthday.

Plumbing

Well Levi got sick with the flu Thursday morning and he would not stop throwing up. He threw up about 12 times in 2 and a half hours so I took him to the instacare and they gave him some anti nausea medicine which stopped the vomiting but for the rest of the day and the next he was not himself and just trying to recover. He seems to be feeling better today.
We got are garden started by getting the rototiller from Jeremy's dad and the seeds that we are going to plant. Next step is to fix the rototiller so its will work and than till the spot that we are going to plant. Jeremy is so excited about planting a garden. I am sure than I am going to be the one doing all the upkeep but thats ok cause I like work in the dirt. I just hope that we can get stuff to grow.
We also fixed our toilet. Its been broken for about a week now where it wont stop running unless you manually push the flap thing down. So we were going to call our home warranty and have them come out an fix it, but they charge $45.00 to do thar and I was sure that it was just a simple thing than needed to be fixed. So we went to Lowes and got a complet toliet kit with all the parts for less than $20. Jeremy was real worried cause he knows nothing about plumbing but together we replaced all the insides to the toilet and it seems to be working great now (crossing my fingers). Aterwards we both agreed that it was a lot eaier than we thought it was going to be. I am so glad that its fixed.

P.S. All of our fish have died please dont ask its a really sore subject.

Levis Chair

I have started to feel better these days. I still have moments of nausea but they are moments not days.
Jeremy has been working on a chair for Levi. We finished it today and it turned out really good. Jeremy said that it was his fist chair ever. Levi likes it and I think its pretty cool.
I am 8 weeks pregnant and I have my first doctor appointment on Monday. I am looking forward to the doctor just to know that everything is going well and like it should. I took a belly shot and I am not sure that I am going to share it cause I look so huge for only 8 weeks.
I have been really homesick for my family lately. The other night I really missed my mom. Its still hard to be so far away from my sister and my Mommy. So last night I made "make your own tacos" which is my most favorite food that my Mom makes and it was really good. It reminded me of home which was a good thing. I love living here and am happy and just tonight in the car Jeremy and I were talking and I said that I would not move back to California and he asked me if I was 100% sure and I said no but I would have to really think about it. I miss my family like crazy but I love it here. Next month will be two years here and this really feels like home now.
I guess I am just the very emotional crazy lady who misses her Mom and sister like crazy but I am happy with were I am right now.

I am ready for the first trimester to be over with.

Its been a long week and its only Wednesday. I have had really bad morning sickness almost everyday. I feel so sick to my stomach all of the time and food sounds so unappealing. Its not fun. I dont remember it being this bad with Levi. Its really bad.
As many of you know we have been having furnace issues. The furnace is working good now and for all of the trouble the company gave us a free duct cleaning. That was cool to watch them bring this huge vacuum in and clean all the ducts.
It snowed Monday afternoon and Monday night a whole bunch. So Tuesday Levi, Sammy and I went and played in it. We were making snow balls and than I had the idea to make some snow cones. So I made Levi his every first fresh pure snow cone. I had some cherry flavor syrup that you use to make Shirlly Temples and I put that on the snow in a cup and Levi loved it. When Jer got home Levi was telling him about the snow cones and he said, "you guys ate snow with dirt and poop and bugs in it?" I guess he has no idea what hes missing.
I was commenting on facebook that the smell of the fish tank is driving me crazy right now and I relized that no one knew that we got a fish tank. About 3 weeks ago we got a fish tank. Petsmart was having a great sale on the tank and everything that you need to get started. So we have fish now. We have 12 in all. They are cool. Levi loves to feed them. We have two that are called kissing fish cause when the open their mouths they look like they are kissing. We have two silver dollar fish. Two cat fish. Two sucker fish. Three chillds. And this big dragon eel looking fish that I cant remeber the name of.

Number 2

Well if you have not heard already I am pregnant. I am six weeks along as so very happy. I am tired all of the time and hungry. I have had one bout of morning sickness already where I threw up like crazy, and another where I thought I was but never did.
If you ask Levi where the baby is he will point to my stomach and say right there, and if you ask him what the baby's name is he will say "right there" I think its funny. So thats what we are calling it.
My due date is Oct 31, 5 days after Levis. I am going to the doctor in two weeks to have my first check up. I cant wait. I know that they next 9 months will fly by.

Cold Cold Cold Cold

We got a new fernace on Wednesday night. At some point that night the furnace stopped working and we froze to death. So we called the company and threw a fit. We just spent a boat load of money on a brand new furnace and its did not even work. So the guys came back and thought they had fixed it, but as soon as they left it started blowing cold air again. So we call them back and they send a special out to come see what the problem is. He says there is something wrong with one of the saftey switches in the furnace. So he jimmy rigs the furance by bypassing the saftey swich and says that it will work and he will be back in the morning to replace the switch. But he tells us that we should not run the heater while we are sleeping cause there no saftey on it so if a fire starts while we are sleeping than that would be really bad. So we borrow some space heater from my in laws and we get ready for another cold night.
This morning the guy comes again and replaces the swich and says that it should works but he will be back Monday to make the final adjustment. He also tells me not to leave the furnace on when I leave the house.
So I was gone most of today grocey shopping with Gandma Joyce and Jeremy got home before me and turned the heater on. It ran for about 2 or so hours and now its doing the same thing as before.
I am so irrated right now. A brand new furnace should be working. It seems like nothing can go right. Here it is at 5 on a Friday night and we have no heat and its been snowing. If they are not able to get it working than we are going to go spend the night at my in laws cause I am not spending another night cold.
