Cool Dude

Today Jeremy had the day off and we spent the day running errand. It was a good day. We got Levi a dresser finally so now once we set it up we will be ready for this baby.

My friend Beth had her baby today. She was due two weeks before me but she is one of the lucky ones who gets to go early and had a super easy labor. I think I have my mother jeans and will be having this baby two weeks late cause we like to cook our baby a little extra. That means I have 7 more weeks to go. It sounds like a very long long time but the longer he stays put the better. I can always hope for him to come tomorrow :)

Hair Cut time

Levi got his hair cut for the second time by a professional. Usually I just shave it but I love his longer hair so I did not want to shave it. He did so great getting it cut. He was so serious the whole time.

Today Levi and went to pick up my cousin Cindy who flew in from Massachusetts for her boyfriends cousins wedding but her flight got in 3 hours before her boyfriends so I was picking her up and we were going to hang for a few hours. On the way to the airport my car started acting really funny. Than the service light came on. I was starting to stress. But I made it to the airport and picked her up. Than it started acting really weird. We got out of the airport and than my car just would not pick up speed. Than not even a mile out of the airport it died. We made it to the side of the road. I called Jeremy and told him what happened. He said he would be right there. I than had a thought. I called Jer back and asked him when the last time we put gas in the car was. We than figured it was most likey out of gas. Thats right folks I ran out of gas. Jeremy stopped by the house and grabbed the gas can and came and gave us some gas. Luck I was only about a mile from the gas station which was my next stop. I felt like a total loser but in my defense the gas gauge in my van has never worked and usually I am so good at tracking the mileage but this baby is sucking my brain cells and Jeremy was the last one to dive the van and he had drove to Logan and I did not fill it up the last time I put gas in it so I was not paying close enough attention to the mileage and usually the gas light come on when I am low and it never came on. I am just so glad thats all it was. I thought something was really wrong with it. I have not ran out of gas since I was 16 and I hope I go about 16 years without doing it again.
Once we finally made it home Cindy and I had a nice visit. It was good to see her.

What is that smell?

And no Amy its not me this time.

There has been this funky smell in the house for awhile. It was getting worse. Last night I asked Jeremy to look under the couch and see if there was something rotting under there. I was giving Levi a bath. I asked him if he looked later and he said no but he smelled over by the couch and did not think thats where the smell was coming from (men!!!!)
Today I said ok I will look while I was cleaning the floors. So I was sweeping and pulled the couch out and there was the usual junk under the couch but no rotting food, diapers, or animals (thought maybe the car brought in another bird). But the smell got worse when I moved the couch. So I sweep up and than start to move the couch back. Thats when I saw it. A DEAD MOUSE!! I called Jeremy and said that he needed to come home and take care of it. It was about 40 mintues before he was off. He said that he was not coming home early. I told him if that he has listened to me in the first place yesterday than we would not be having his conversation. So I than told him that I was leaving the house and Levi and I went for a drive. Jeremy came home and took care of the mouse and cleaned up after it. It was pretty stressful.

Labor and Delivery again

I had another trip to L&D today. My contractions would not stop and they were coming every 4 to 6 minutes. So I went in and got checked out and another shot of Tribulene. I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and at that point they wont stop the contractions any more. So I just have to keep this baby inside for another 3 weeks at least and no more trips to L&D unless my water breaks or the contractions get really bad. I feel so much better after the shot they gave me. I relize now that all the discomfort that I have had for the last two days was my contractions and such because now that they have stopped them I feel so much more comfortable.

Recap

We had a fun weekend. Jeremy had the weekend off so on Saturday we woke up and went to the State Fair. We had a good time. It was a little hot and I almost did not make it towards the end but we got to see all the animals, have corn on the cob, and ride the Farris wheel.
Than that evening my dad came for a visit. It was so good to see him. Levi had so much fun playing with him. I am happy that he stopped by. He spent the night and than left early this morning.

Labor Day

This weekend was a good one. It was good cause Jeremy finally had a day off. It was so nice to spend time as a family. He worked half a day Saturday and than had yesterday and today off.
Saturday we had to take Levi to the urgent care for an ear ache. He has had a cold that he was pretty much over but Saturday night he starts screaming and pulling at his ear and wont spot. Than he asks for an ice cube and than trys to put it in his ear. So we rushed to the doctor, him screaming the whole way. His ear drum was close to bursting. So we gave him Tyleon, Motrin, some numing drops in the ear and than got some antibiotics. He was druged up good and felt much better.
Sunday we were all feeling better so that evening we went cat fishing. We did not catch anything and Levi had more fun playing in the park than fishing but it was good to spend time together.
Today we cleaning the carport. It was in bad shape and now looks much better. Than we had some friends over for dinner. I made BBQ shrimp, pasta salad and potatoes. It was so much fun to have them over. We all had a great time.
I am sad Jer has to go back to work tomorrow cause I have enjoyed having him home.

Wheeler Farm

The other day we went to Wheeler Farm with the moms group and I had forgotten how awesome this place it. Its free for a start and Levi loves it. There is so much for him to do. He got to feed the ducks and pretend to drive a tractor. Jeremy and I had switched cars that day cause I needed to get his register so I did not have my camera but Laura took some pictures of the kids so that's where I got the one above.
