Chirstmas 2010

We had a great Christmas. We had a sleep over at Grandma Sherry's house on the 23rd to the 24th with all Levis cousins. Levi had the time of his life. He slept down stairs with all the kids and he thought he was so cool.
Than Christmas day we stayed home in our PJs all day and opened presents. Levi was so excited to see that Santa had come and that he was on the "good list".
The Thursday before Christmas I had a wisdom tooth and an upper molar removed and was on some heavy pain killers but was still able to enjoy most of it. I was not able to partake in all of the yummy food but that was probably best for my waist line.

Auntie Ms Visit

Aunite M came for a visit last weekend. We had a great time. Levi loves her soooo much. We were in the car and Levi said "Aunite M is my special mom" It was so cute.
While she was here we ---
Had breakfast with the moms group and Levi was so excited.
We built a life size snowman that fell over the next day cause it got to warm

Thanksgiving 2010

Did you miss me? I know that it has been forever since I have posted. I was with out the internet for a while and life got busy.
We had a very quite mellow Thanksgiving. The day after we went downtown and saw the light in Temple Square. It was really cold and Kyle does not do well in the cold but we did it and it was fun.

Parents Visit

My parents came for a very very short visit. It was so good to see them. They came for Kyles birthday and Halloween. We crammed a lot of stuff in the two and half days they were here. I wish they could have stayed longer. Here are some pictures of the stuff we did.

Check ups

The boys had their well child check ups yesterday and both got shots. Levi is doing great at 39 lbs and 39 inches tall. Hes so smart and loves to sing and spell. He is really loving preschool and playing with his friends. He took his shot like a man and only cried a little and it was more of a fake cry. He did watch them as they stuck him in the leg. He must take after me cause I like to watch the shots too.
Kyle is doing good other than his weight. He has not gained any weight since his 6 month appointment. I knew that he was not eating good. He perfers nursing but I did not know it was affecting his weight. Hes always been a chunk and been in about the 75% for weight, yesterday he dropped into the 25%. The doctor said I can still nurse but we need him to eat table food. So last night I did not nurse him all night long. He had never ever gone that long without nursing and I was in pain come morning. He did not want to sleep either. So after both of us taking cat naps in my chair all night long I tried to feed him about 7 am. Nope he did not want any of that. I tired oatmeal, I tired yogurt, I tired applesauce, I tired cereal. He did not want any of it. He would just scream. I think I got about 2 bites of oatmeal in him. Than I gave in and nursed him. We than both took a nap in my chair again. After he woke up was still really grumpy so I made lunch, mac and cheese, he probably had about 6 noddles total. Man is this kids stubborn. So he was still grumpy and wanting to nurse. I did not give in this time. I have him a bottle of juice and he drank about half of it, than took another nap. I was sore again from not nursing so I took a hot shower.
The doc promised me that he would not starve himself but as of 6 pm last night all he has had is a few bites of oatmeal, some mac and cheese noddles, a half bottle of juice and nursed twice. I really hope that he learns to eat table food again and really soon so I don't have worry about it .

Happy 1st Kyle

Kyle had his first birthday on Friday the 29th. He has not been feeling real well so we let him rest, until my parents came in from Cali that night. Than we had a brithday dinner and cup cakes.
My parents came to visit for the boys birthdays. The came in Friday night and left Sunday night. It was way to short of a trip but it was great to see them and boy did we pack a lot of stuff into those two days. I will be posting about that later.
I love you Kyle and the last year has gone by super fast and you sure are growing into your own person.
