Pioneer Day 2014

We went to Meadow, Utah for the 24th of July. We had a great time like always. It was so fun to get away and play with the kids. 

On our way there we picked up our new puppy, Molly!! She's an 8 week old springer spaniel and we are loving her.

Sammy

We put our baby Sammy to sleep. It was the hardest thing ever. He was suffering really bad and we were not able to help him. 

I had an eye infection and when we took Sammy to the vet I had been crying most of the day and the infection could not scab over cause of all the tears so I was crying blood. So at the vets office Kyle was in his pjs, I was crying blood, Levi was crying, Jeremy was crying. We were a huge mess. But he is no longer suffering and in a much better place. 

We buried him under a Granny Apple Smith tree and have named the tree the Sammy Smith Tree. 

I still miss him like crazy!!!! It's so hard sleeping with out him. I think about him all time. I wish he was still here. We had a GREAT 9 years with him and so many good memories. 

Random

Kyle has learned how to swim. He can dog paddle for about 5 feet. He's a great swimmer

We went on a family hike to Stuart Falls

We spent a week in Idaho visiting Jeremy's mom and we tried SUPing and loved it 

The kids also had a blast playing with their uncle and cousins 

Birthday/Halloween recap

My babies turned 7 and 4. They are so old now. They are the best kids ever and I love them with all my heart!! 

We had a birthday party for them at the skate park and had a lot of fun. 

Levi is doing great in school. He's really excelling at reading. He has two grown up teeth and two loose teeth. He loves video games and science. 

Kyle is loving preschool and learning his letters. He loves art. He loves to do any and every thing his brother is doing. He won't eat anything unless its covered in sugar or ranch. I am pretty sure he has ate his weight in Halloween candy. He's still not sleeping through the night and loves to rub his face on me. 

We went to insta care yesterday cause jeremy has an infection in his pinky from a thorn. He's on antibiotics now so hopefully it will be feeling better. 

I am training for my 2nd half marathon. Amy and I will be running a half in CA when I am out there for thanksgiving. 

Crystal Hot Springs

After our races we went to Crystal Hot Springs to camp for the night. It was so nice to soak in the pool and hot tubs after running. We had a great time camping. Here are some random pic for camping

West Fest kids fun run

I ran the West Valley City West Fest 5k and after they had a kids run. Levi and Kyle had a blast running it. It was a super short run across the grass and they split them up into age groups so levi and Kyle did not run together. They got a goodie bag, a Popsicle, and a ribbon at the end. It was fun. 

My 5k was good. It was a super flat course and I ran it super fast. My offical time was 28:01 and 5th in my age group.

California

I took a trip to CA all by myself to surprise my dad for his 65 birthday. My mom planned a big surprise party with all his family and friends. It was a great party and I am glad I was able to be there. I was only there 3 day s and 2 nights but it was a very nice getaway.
