Hollywood Connection

Today started Jeremys 16 day vacation. We got some Christmas shopping done. Than went to Hollywood Connection. We went Mini Golf which Levi had a blast at. Than we rode all the rides. Levis favorite was the bummer cars. He went on them over and over and OVER again. It was a Thursday and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. There was never a line for any of the rides. And the BEST part was we only sent $15.00. It was $5.00 for the 4 of us to play mini golf and $10.00 for the 3 of us to go on all the rides we could. It was also the first time Levi went on a roller coaster. He was a little scared of the roller coaster but did go on it twice. We all had a great time and I am so glad we were able to spend time as a family.

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree today and hung the outside lights and got our house looking like Christmas. I was feeling a little like a scrooge but I feel a little better now with the tree up and looking pretty. The smell of a pine tree in the house makes me feel a little more in the spirit of Christmas.

Breakfast with Santa

This weekend we went to the annual Breakfast with Santa that my moms group puts on every year. Levi had a great time this year. He was so excited that Santa gave him a present and he was not scared of him this year.
We also got a bunch of snow. Jer had to shovel for the first time this season. We are suppose to get more snow this week. I am afraid that we have missed the window of opportunity to put up the Christmas lights.

Santa Run in Ogden

Auntie M wanted to do a run while she was out here. So on Saturday after thanksgiving we all went to Ogden and watched her participate in the Santa Run. Everyone was required to dress up as Santa. She did a great job and we had fun watching. After the run there was a parade. We did not stay for all of it cause it was cold and dark. We than went out to dinner for Jeffs birthday.
Levi wanted to run with Aunite M so bad so I let him run cross the finishe line a few time.

Temple Lights

This was the second time we have gone downtown and watched them turn on the Christmas Lights. It was cold cold colder than last year but with my family there it was extra special. Kyle slept thru the whole thing which was good cause that way he stayed nice and warm.
Levi had a fascination with the bagpipe player so we took a picture with him but Levi was not to sure about being that close to him. The look Levi was giving him was so funny.

Family Visit

My mom got to come spend 10 days with us. It was WONDERFUL. I felt like I was on vacation. She did all the cooking and cleaning. She should really visit more often.

Auntie M came and Levi could not have been happier. She gave him a present that were these little pills you stick in water and the grow. Levi thought it was the coolest thing

Auntie M also made this wonderful blanket for Kyle. Its a beautiful blanket and she did a wonderful job.

Thanksgiving

This year my sister Amy, her husband Jeff and my mom were all here to spend Thanksgiving with us. My dad had to work. We made pies and sweet potatoes than took them over to Jeremys dads house were we all had a big dinner. It was a great day. The food was amazing. Levi helped make the pumpkin pie and it had to be one of the best pies that I have had.

Blessing Day

On Sunday the 29th we gave Kyle David Madsen his name and a blessing. It was a really special day. Jeremy did a great job giving the blessing. My Dad, Jeremys Dad, my brother in law Jeff, our friends Cory and Keith and Bishop Fellows all stood in the circle for the blessing.
We than had our family and friends over for a light lunch.
Grandma Madsen was admitted into the hospital this weekend cause her heart rate was so low that she passed out. So Sunday night Jeremy and I left the boys with my mom and sister and went to visit her. Jeremy helped his dad give her a blessing. Jeremy and his dad got to bless the youngest and the oldest Madsen in the same day. Grandma Madsen is doing better. She got a pacemaker yesterday and we hope that she is on the road to recovery.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I was busy with my family visiting and we did so much fun stuff while they were here. Today they are all gone and its just our family again. I miss them.
