We got a kitten today. Jer told me that when we got our own place that I could have a cat. So tonight we went and picked up a free kitten. We named her Lilly after Shreks mother in law Lillian. Levis favorite movie is Shrek one, two and three. He will ask me all day long if he can watch Shrek. He now says "I need Shrek". When he wants some thing he will say that he needs it. Its cute. Levi is in love with Lilly. The whole ride home he wanted her to sit on his lap and than when we got home he would not leave her alone. He says " I need Lilly." Its so cute that he can say her name already. I have yet to hear him say Sammy but 15 minutes after we name the cat hes saying her name. He was carrying her around the house and kept wanting me to put her on his lap. I think that it is so great that he is an animal lover. Jer and I love all animals so I would be really worried if Levi did not like animals.
Sammy and Lilly are still not to sure about each other. She likes to hiss at him and Sammy just whinnes and shakes. But after Levi was in bed Jer and I were playing with Lilly on our bed and Sammy came in and the next thing I know Jer, Sammy and Lilly are all asleep on the bed. I think that Sammy and Lilly will become friends after a while

On a complety diffent subject. In my last post I said that we had been working on the lawn. Jer moved the lawn for the fist time this weekend and Levi wanted to help so I thought I would post some of the pictures of Jer and Levi mowing the Lawn.

Weekend News

It was a long weekend. I was with out the internet all weekend. I found an unlocked internet signal when we first moved but when I woke up Friday morning it was gone. We did sign up for Comcast but they wont be coming till Friday. My signal came back this moring so I thought I would write something.
We sold Jers car this weekend. We now only have one car. Jer works so close to home that for now unless I need to go somewhere before 11 he will come home at lunch and give me the car, I will than take him back to work and than pick him up at 430. If I need the car before 11 than I will have to get me and Levi up at 5 so we can take him to work. I think that we will make it work. We will be saving $300 a month by selling it.
We had dinner at the inlaws last night. That was fun. Its nice to go over and visit and than we able to go home to our own house.
We spent most of the weekend working on the yard. The grass right now is trash so we are trying to revive it. Jers dad has given us a lawn mower so we mowed and fertilized it and water it and than this morning I ferliized it again. We are trying to bring it back before the snow falls. The neighbor across the street has the most beautiful lawn so our gole is by next spring to have a lawn that looks like his. The house across the street is for sale.
My parents are coming to visit next month. I am so excicted. My sister is suppose to be coming out also but this moring I got a not so funny email about the ticket I got her not being valid. My friend works for JetBlue and got me a very cheap ticket for her but I am not sure whats going on now. I will be really sad if Amy cant come out. I miss her like crazy. I think knowing that my family is coming out has made me really home sick this weekend.

Today was a good Monday. I started hanging pictures in the house and it feels more like home now. Levi took a good nap which was wonderful. He has not had a good nap since we started moving 2 weeks ago. I think that he need it and hes getting more use to his new room. He is starting to sleep the night through more often than not so that's good too. We spent a lot of time out side today witch was really nice.

This weekend was busy. Saturday Jeremy worked. When he got off we went over to our old apartment and got the last of our stuff from the house and we cleaned, and shampooed the carpets. Now all we have to do is clean the fridge over there and get the rest of our stuff from the garage. Than we will be compelty moved out.
Than when we were done cleaning we came home and unloaded all the stuff. Than we went to this 30 year birthday party for our new Stake. It was fun. They had a bunch of bounce houses there and snow cones and cotton candy and scones. It was all free and we had a good time. Levi was on a high from the cotton candy but he had a good time.
Today we went to church. I had a great time at church. I really need to hear the lesson in Relief Society. I love our new ward. It reminds me a our ward back in California and it made me kind of homesick but I do think that I will fit in this ward a lot better.

The video is of our Sunday night dinner. Levi was having more fun putting stickers all over. We have had dinner every night this week as a family at the dinning table. Thats a huge deal in our house. Before we moved we had most dinners in front of the TV. So when we moved into our house we have had every dinner at the table and that makes me happy.

I had swept up the sawdust and Levi found the pile and laid there for about 15 min playing in the dust with his matchbox car. He was having a great time making tracks in the dust. I wish I could know what was gong on in his head.

We spent our first night in the new house last night. We had some amazing friends help us move and now I am trying to unpack and find a place for everything.
We had a big rain storm and we found out that our house likes to leak water. There is a moved call "The Money Pit". Jeremy has never seen it so I am going to rent it because I feel like thats what we are living in. I do love are new house. Its just going to take more work than we thought to fix it and it seems that every time we turn around there is something else that needs to be fixed.
The hard wood floors turned out really nice. I love them and I love that Jeremy spent so much time and energy working on them. I took so many pictures so I will post them soon.
